Details

Date: 11 July 2020
Interview number: 014
Interviewee: Minnamurra River Swimmers
Venue:
Minnamurra River Swimmers, Minnamurra, New South Wales

Description

We met up with Angela Hay, Angela Brady and Pete Parkinson on the banks of the Minnamurra River on a beautiful blue sky day. And what a day it was, because the water was crystal clear on the high tide and the swim before our chat was divine.

The two Angela’s stuck around after the swim for a chat about what it’s like being a river swimmer, how the river differs from other open water swimming environments, and how their jobs intersect with their swimming passion.

A little snippet

In this snippet from the full podcast interview, Angela Hay talks about how she’s looking after two little joey’s and how she loves the marine life even more than the swimming itself.
