We met up with Annette Dunphy before her swim at Dendy Beach, where she divides her swims with the Brighton Baths. At 81, Annette is the oldest female Brighton Iceberger and has been swimming with the Icebergers for more than 40 years.

In our lovely chat seated on the deck of a famous Brighton Bathing Box, we talked about what the Brighton Icebergers club and local swimming culture has been like over the last four decades, swimming with the boys, and the wonders of cold water swimming, to name a few.
