Interview number: 015
Interviewees: Werri Point Swimmers
Venue: Werri Beach, Gerringong, New South Wales
We met up with a huge group of Werri Point Swimmers on a gorgeous Sunday morning in Gerringong. Jules got to swim, so off they went off the rocks and along the beach under a shiny golden sunrise.
With coffees in hand, we sat around a table at the surf club to talk about the virtues of ocean swimming, the wonders the group swims have done for creating a sense of community and many of the break-away adventures some of the group get up to along the south coast.
In this snippet from the full podcast interview, the guys talk about how the regular ocean swimming is good, but the community and camaraderie derived from being apart of the group is really what it’s all about.
