This is a highly customisable private clinic for sports clubs looking for professional ocean swimming training to fill a knowledge gap or complement their club coached sessions.
If you’re a surf club, triathlon club or other ocean-sports club looking for a group clinic to develop your members skills in the ocean, then this is the clinic for you.
This clinic can be whatever you want it to be, we can work with you to develop a clinic plan to target the skills and knowledge deficiencies your members have, or we can deliver one of our popular Learn to ocean swim, Negotiating the surf or Open water swimming clinics.
The clinic has a set price of $1,755 for up to 12 participants (a saving of up to 25%), invoiced to the club for a single payment. We will require a single club organiser to develop the clinic plan with, schedule the date and collect all fees. Some previous participating clubs have fundraised for the clinic cost or subsidised participants fees.

Members of our tri club would often be seen standing on the beach prior to an ocean swim leg, looking terrified by the prospect of heading out through the waves and trying to work out the easiest route around the bouys. Seasoned triathletes would wonder why their swim leg was so slow when they had just missed out on that podium. In search of a solution to give our members confidence and a competitive edge, we recruited OceanFit to put together a specific clinic which catered for both inexperienced and experienced open water swimmers who simply needed to gain confidence and learn new skills. The result was fantastic – not only did our members gain confidence and learn how to become faster in the water, they developed an in-depth understanding of how the ocean works that could be applied to any swim leg under any conditions. I’d highly recommend Andre and his team at Ocean fit to deliver this type of training as it comes from vast experience and profound knowledge of ocean swimming.
