In this lesson you will learn when to perform a shallow surface dive and why it’s the most efficient way to navigate small broken waves.

Surf zones

Learn how to divide the surf zone into three parts to focus your energy where it’s needed, when it’s needed.

Sighting backstroke

In this lesson you will learn how to perform sighting backstroke and why it’s an important technique for swimming back through the wave zone to shore.

Putting it all together

Learn how to put together everything you’ve learnt about the ocean environment in a theoretical example.
