We met up with Jane Howells at her regular open water swim location, Cooee Beach in Yeppoon, Central Queensland. As an emergency nurse and regular pool swimmer, it was the pandemic that really sparked a move to the open water, due to necessity and as a way to relax and step away from the new normal, and she hasn’t looked back.
