Great Victorian Swim Series 2018-19 dates announced

The organisers of the Great Victorian Swim Series have released the event dates for swims included in the 2018-19 season.

This season involves 12 events, kicking off with the Victorian Open Water Championships on the 16th December 2018 and ending with the Half Moon Bay Cerberus swim on 2nd March 2019.

Thousands of swimmers take part in the series, one of the largest in Australia, where the aim is to encourage more people to be active and take part in community events that help raise money for surf life saving clubs.

Swimmers who register for the series receive series-branded gear, earn points to place in categories, and go in the draw to win spot prizes.

This seasons major prize is a swim trip to Europe with organiser Cousins Swimming Tours.

There are no minimum swim requirements to be eligible for prizes, in fact, you don’t have to swim at all to be eligible for the travel prize!
