The Tathra Wharf to Waves is a stunning and historical open water event taking place at the beautiful Tathra Beach.
Starting at the famous Tathra wharf, competitors have the option to swim either a 600m or 1200m course finishing on Tathra Beach in front of the Surf Life Saving Club.
The 1200m event is open to those aged 12 years and older and swimmers as young as 10 can take part in the 600m swim. Every competitor has the chance to win great prizes.

The Tathra Wharf to Waves is a fun set of ocean swims for athletes as young as 10. The event suits swimmers both new to open water swimming as well as those who are more competitive.
Starting at the historic Tathra wharf, swimmers aged 12 years and above have the choice to take on the 1200m 'Splash for Cash' or a series of 600m age races for those as young as 10.
Both events finish in front of the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club. The Splash for Cash heads out into the bay and around a few buoys before ending up on the beach. The 600m swim heads straight towards the middle of the beach and ends up at the surf club.
Tathra and the surrounding areas provide the perfect destination for a scenic and relaxing weekend away.
