The Mollymook ocean swim is held at the beautiful Mollymook Beach on NSW’s south coast.
The event is open to swimmers of all abilities. There is a 500m swim open to juniors (10-12 years old) and a 2.2km race for those aged 13 years and above. There is also a Dash for Cash, which is open for all swimmers who have competed in one of the other two events.
After the swim, there will be a fun-packed afternoon with the Mollymook surf club bar opening, food vans and live music.
The event is raising funds for a local organization called Safe waters, a charity focused on supporting vulnerable people by relieving poverty and social isolation and addressing issues within the local community through expressions of love, compassion and hope.
Mollymook is a beautiful area to relax and explore. The beach is renowned for dolphins and even whales. Head to Ulladulla and walk the Coomee Nilunga Cultural Track and discover Indigenous art and scenic coastal views. Hire a canoe or paddleboat and float along Burrill Lake.
