A whip around the buoys at Broulee Beach, where the main swim will finish, will amp the kids up for a lifetime of ocean swimming... just like their parents!
Starting in the sheltered Broulee Bay, the 1.4km swim heads straight off the beach then turns south to round the headland, towards the breaking waves of south Broulee Beach.
The Broulee Island Nature Reserve is connected to the mainland by a permanent sandbar and you can walk across this land bridge from the south end of Broulee Beach and enjoy spectacular marine scenery, vibrant native plants and marine birdlife.
While you're in the town, eat out at the popular South Brou Cafe located under the surf club for great views and great coffee.
These small town swims rarely have parking issues - you'll be right.
