SENIORS
- What is SENIORS?This program is specially designed to get seniors 65+ moving and enjoying the physical and holistic benefits of the ocean environment.
Low impact and medium energy water exercises will promote a full range of movement to encourage an active body and mind.
- A typical session
- Warm up – A few active exercises on the beach and a short stroll.
- Get wet – Move to the water, get wet and ready to move.
- Skill development – Focus on one or two ocean confidence or swimming skills.
- Feet first – A mixture of water-based exercises that keep your feet on the ground and slowly increase their intensity throughout the set.
- Swim – Whether you’re a turtle or a fish we’ll add a few fun swim sets to get you off your feet.
- Group exercises – Team up with other participants for fun team relays and group challenges.
- Fun finish – One last fun game or exercise to send you on your way smiling.
